Actors Choi Min-sik and Choi Hyun-wook are teaming up with the “Nation’s MC” Yoo Jae-suk!
According to News1, Choi Min-sik and Choi Hyun-wook will appear on the talk show ‘Pinggyego’ on the YouTube channel ‘DdeunDdeun’. Recording is expected to take place in early June.
‘Pinggyego’ is a web variety show where Yoo Jae-suk chats freely with his favorite friends using all sorts of excuses. Known for bringing out the natural charms of guests in a relaxed setting, it is a show that top stars are eager to appear on.
The duo will visit ‘Pinggyego’ ahead of the release of their new Netflix series ‘The Boy in the Last Row’ to share behind-the-scenes stories. Fans are especially excited for Choi Min-sik’s reunion with Yoo Jae-suk after their great chemistry on tvN’s ‘You Quiz on the Block’. Plus, Choi Hyun-wook, who recently showed off his unexpected variety sense and clumsy charm on tvN’s ‘After School Teacher Taeri’, is joining in, making their synergy even more anticipated.
Meanwhile, ‘The Boy in the Last Row’ tells the story of Heo Mun-oh (played by Choi Min-sik), a failed writer and Korean literature professor, who discovers the genius of Lee Kang (played by Choi Hyun-wook), a student sitting in the very last row of the classroom. Based on a Spanish play of the same name that received critical and audience acclaim after its 2015 domestic premiere, the series is expected to deliver intense suspense through the tangled relationships and precarious psychology of the characters.
