Coupang Play’s variety show ‘Bonjour Bakery’ is ramping up excitement with the release of its second episode trailer.
While Cha Seung-won is famous for being a great cook, he meets his match with the precision of baking. The trailer kicks off with his desperate cry, “This is hell,” as he gets trapped in the strict world of measurements where even 1g makes a difference. Fans are curious to see if Cha Seung-won and Lee Ki-taek can successfully open the oven after enduring “bread hell,” which requires repeating the shaping process 24 times for a single loaf of bread, to create a “devilish taste.”
While the kitchen is a “technical battle,” the hall is in total chaos with crowds of customers. Reportedly, the hall team loses their cool as a group of 10 people rushes in immediately after opening, followed by a flood of additional orders. However, “National Grandson” Kim Seon-ho steps in as a relief pitcher with his signature refreshing smile to turn the atmosphere around.
‘Bonjour Bakery’ is a healing variety show set in Korea’s first “senior dessert cafe” in a quiet rural village. It is a place where seniors who know the taste of life and bakery staff who know the taste of happiness share sweet comfort and warmth. With PD Park Geun-hyung of ‘You Quiz on the Block’ and writer Kim Ran-ju of ‘Infinite Challenge’ joining forces, it is considered one of the most anticipated shows.
