Chef Park Eun-young has shared some lovely details about her soon-to-be husband!
On her channel ‘Bob Eun-young’, Park Eun-young recently shared a glimpse of her self-hosted bridal shower as she prepares for her wedding this May.
Talking about their first meeting, she revealed, “We met through a blind date. It didn’t work out a few years ago, but we reconnected and things finally clicked.” She explained that they stayed in touch and met whenever she visited Korea while she was frequently traveling between Hong Kong and Korea. Park admitted, “I didn’t officially confess, but I think I put some pressure on him. We weren’t dating, but we’d eat together whenever I was in Korea, and I felt the situation was too ambiguous. I think I told him that this meal felt like it should be our last as just friends.”
Regarding the distance, she added, “He felt the long-distance aspect was burdensome, but from my perspective, it didn’t feel that way because he flew to Korea once a week. He was taking eight flights a month! He’s the type who wants to see me often, whereas I felt seeing each other once a week was just fine.”
When asked what her fiancé loves about her, she replied, “I don’t think I ever asked him that. I assume he asked me to marry him because he likes me! Our personalities are quite different. I’m not the type to be meticulously caring, but my husband is very detailed and attentive. I think we balance each other well because I’m not the type to demand attention.”
She further praised his kindness, noting, “I wanted someone smart and sweet, and he fits that perfectly. My previous partners always asked me to cook because I’m a chef, but he has never once asked me to make food. He always has a meal ready for me when I get home. When I told him, ‘Why don’t you ask me to make something delicious? I’ll cook for you,’ he actually told me he’d prefer if I didn’t cook when we’re together. I hope this lasts forever!”
Addressing fans’ curiosity about his looks and age, she shared, “There is a one-year age difference. He’s always tired now, so he looks a bit worn out, but when he was at his peak, I think he resembled Ha Seok-jin.”
Meanwhile, Park Eun-young is set to hold her wedding ceremony at the Shilla Hotel in May.
