Group FLARE U has already made a huge impact on the album charts from the very first day of their debut! According to Hanteo Chart on the 14th, FLARE U’s first mini album ‘YOUTH ERROR’ recorded 96,786 copies sold on its release date, May 13th, putting them right on the verge of surpassing 100,000 copies.
FLARE U swept the top spots on the Hanteo Daily Album and Daily Music charts on the 13th, and also claimed #1 on the Circle Chart Daily Retail Album chart, proving their incredible momentum right from the start. Their debut album ‘YOUTH ERROR’ captures the trials and errors of two youths facing different struggles. Featuring Choi Rip-woo and Kang Woo-jin from the Mnet audition program ‘BOYS 2 PLANET’, the group tells a unique story of youth. The title track ‘WAY 2 U’ describes the fluttering excitement of moving beyond friendship, compared to the sudden vibration of a phone. The song cheerfully expresses the feeling of rushing toward someone without hesitation, while the performance uses storytelling choreography to depict the process of a one-sided crush. In particular, the ‘pit-a-pat’ point choreography, which visualizes the nervousness right before a confession, is capturing the public’s attention. Having already proven their buzzworthiness, FLARE U will make their first music show appearance on Mnet’s ‘M Countdown’ today (14th) to officially kick off their promotions.
