He confessed the story of how he eventually completed his master’s degree after his military discharge, describing a vicious cycle where working to earn tuition meant he couldn’t attend classes, and going to school meant he had to quit working.
Eugene praised her husband, saying, “My oppa is quite well-educated,” while revealing that she dropped out of the Department of French Language and Literature at Korea University. She caught attention by recalling her days as the so-called ‘Korea University Queen Bee,’ saying, “I used to roam the campus with my straight hair fluttering, and there were male students who actively helped me with assignments and notes.”
The couple’s conversation moved beyond past regrets to current achievements and daily healing. Ki Tae-young shared the news that he recently obtained a drone license, which is known for its high difficulty. He brought laughter by jokingly mentioning, “I tasted bitterness once due to a ridiculous mistake in a tense atmosphere where one mistake leads to failure, but I eventually passed.”
Eugene also revealed her own healing secret, saying she finds great comfort just by keeping flowers in the house, while Ki Tae-young emphasized the preciousness of walking with his wife and children.
