Actress Jeon Yeo-been is gearing up for a transformation into a sly and practical writer!

On the 15th, Jeon Yeo-been’s agency, Management mmm, announced that she has been cast in the new ENA drama ‘Hok-haneun Romance’.

‘Hok-haneun Romance’ tells the story of a star anchor experiencing early menopause and a “low-class” writer who used to be her enemy. While trying to save a show with the lowest ratings, they end up reviving their long-dormant romance cells.

In the series, Jeon Yeo-been will play Seo Hae-yoon, a writer at the YCB newsroom. While Seo Hae-yoon is responsible, resourceful, and warm-hearted, she is also known by the nickname “ssam-mai writer.” Having hopped between various newsrooms for over 10 years focusing on sensational news, she is truly someone who lives and breathes ratings.

Her life takes a turn when she meets YCB’s star anchor Na Yi-jun (played by Jung Kyung-ho), leading the two to unexpectedly team up and sparking a romantic vibe.

Through this project, Jeon Yeo-been is taking on another character transformation, moving away from her previous role in ‘Good Woman Bu Se-mi’.

While she showed incredible charisma as Kim Young-ran, a bodyguard from a humble background who entered a contract marriage with a terminally ill chaebol chairman in her previous work, she will now showcase a more realistic, grounded performance as Seo Hae-yoon, armed with a fiery personality and a silver tongue.
