Actor Yoon Shi-yoon (39) has honestly opened up about why his marriage has been delayed.
On the 15th, KBS released a pre-release clip of ‘Stars’ Top Recipe at Fun-staurant’ titled “Kim Jae-joong, froze(?)! Singles’ love, marriage, and freezing(?) stories.”
In the video, actors Choi Jin-hyuk and Yoon Shi-yoon shared their worries about marriage. Both agreed, saying, “Part of the reason we can’t get married is because of our mothers.”
Choi Jin-hyuk, who lives with his mother, confessed that “it’s really difficult to have a girlfriend.”
He added, “My mother nags about everything except marriage. She doesn’t like it when I meet a girlfriend. From my perspective, it seems like she wants me to stay single.” Yoon Shi-yoon strongly agreed with this sentiment.
Yoon Shi-yoon sparked laughter by revealing, “My mom tells me to get married, but deep down, she dislikes the idea.”
When Kim Jae-joong expressed surprise, asking where such mothers exist, Yoon shared a funny story from his past.
He recalled a time when he was dating and asked his mother, “Mom, I’m going on a date with my girlfriend, so please drop me off in front of the station.” However, she pretended not to hear and drove right past the station. Even when he repeatedly told her he needed to get off, she wouldn’t stop. Eventually, she cried out “I don’t know!” and burst into loud tears while holding the steering wheel. Yoon remembered being shocked and trying to comfort her, asking, “What’s wrong? Why are you crying?”
Actor Yoo Seon-ho reacted by saying, “Your mother must have felt neglected.”
When Kim Jae-joong asked if he’s staying single because of his mother’s influence, Yoon honestly replied, “Actually, it is because of my mom,” bringing laughter to the set.
