Epik High and BIGBANG’s Taeyang brought laughs to fans with their hilarious “former coworker chemistry.”

On the 14th, Epik High released a video titled “Former Coworker Gathering ft. Taeyang” on their official YouTube channel, EPIKASE.
In the video, Taeyang, who recently returned from his Coachella performance, appeared as a guest for a candid chat with Epik High. Having previously worked together at YG Entertainment, they shared unfiltered stories and “exposed” each other, creating a comedic atmosphere.
Tablo brought up a story about imitating Taeyang’s dancing and even did a live reenactment, leaving Taeyang flustered. Taeyang joked, “I see comments on my stage videos saying ‘this reminds me of Tablo hyung.’ People said it shouldn’t be funny, but it was,” sparking laughter.
Taeyang also shared behind-the-scenes details about preparing for Coachella. He revealed, “Since it was my first time on that stage, it was hard to predict the vibe. Because a diverse crowd attends, not just fans, I spent a lot of time thinking with the members about which songs to pick.” He added that the setlist was focused on BIGBANG’s 20th anniversary.
The conversation then turned to the highly anticipated BIGBANG comeback. Taeyang honestly admitted, “We have some songs, but the title track hasn’t been decided yet. Honestly, we’re in big trouble.”
He then called GD directly, who confirmed, “I’m still working on it,” and added, “The title track isn’t out yet.” When asked about the comeback timing, GD mentioned a specific period and said, “Maybe there will be something by then,” ramping up excitement.
Epik High and Taeyang also reminisced about their early days and shared more secrets. Tablo added to the laughter by recalling an episode where Taeyang posted a shirtless photo of him on SNS, which led to Tablo dealing with malicious comments.
Despite the playful banter, the deep affection between long-time colleagues was evident. Epik High highly praised Taeyang’s perfectionist approach to music, and the video ended warmly with them cheering each other on.
