Entertainer Kim Shin-young surprised everyone with her incredibly meticulous bathroom maintenance.
In the May 15 episode of MBC’s ‘I Live Alone’ (episode 647), the daily life of homebody Kim Shin-young was revealed.
On this day, Kim Shin-young began cleaning her toilet using an unusual mixture of foot shampoo, toothpaste, and water. Despite the challenges of cleaning a dry floor, she scrubbed so thoroughly that the toilet literally sparkled.
Kim Shin-young explained her reason for never procrastinating on cleaning, even when she isn’t feeling her best: “I wipe the toilet every time I do a big one. That’s the source of the smell, and I hate bathroom odors more than anything.”
When Park Ji-hyun asked, “What do you do if you have to go again right after cleaning?” Kim Shin-young replied, “I just wipe it again. Once it becomes a habit, it’s no big deal.” She even mentioned that she has never held it in just because cleaning was too tedious. Code Kunst was left speechless, remarking, “I think I’d hesitate to go in the middle of the night.”
Kim Shin-young further revealed, “I have a separate guest bathroom, and I clean that one as soon as the guest leaves.” This prompted Kian84 to say, “I’m too intimidated to visit your house,” to which Kim Shin-young admitted, “That’s why people don’t really come over.” Park Ji-hyun then joked, “I should bring my own waste bags,” while Jun Hyun-moo added, “Who would want to visit? They’d be afraid of splashing,” sparking laughter among the cast.
