Kim Shin-young is practically the female version of Kian84!
On the May 15 episode of MBC’s ‘I Live Alone,’ Kim Shin-young’s single life at home was revealed.
After her recent diet, Kim Shin-young has returned to a softer look due to the yo-yo effect. Just as Kian84 once went viral for his self-haircut reminiscent of the movie ‘The Man from Nowhere,’ Kim Shin-young did the same. She surprised viewers by cutting her own short bob instead of visiting a salon.
She shared, “Because I’m short, I’m sensitive to smells,” explaining that she always puts full effort into cleaning her home and taking care of herself. She wasn’t lazy with the bathroom cleaning either, tidying everything up with impressive diligence.
After finishing her self-grooming and bath, she took medicine for laryngitis to focus on her recovery. To help her body heal, she decided she needed vitamins and started mashing strawberries with her favorite rice syrup.

She then created a somewhat primitive scene by absorbing the sweet strawberry syrup directly into her mouth. She explained, “This is medicine. I’m not eating it for the taste. It’s a folk remedy that’s been used in my home for a long time for colds.”
But that wasn’t all! With strawberries as the appetizer, she moved on to a carb-filled mukbang. She took out frozen rice, heated it in the microwave, and quickly polished off a bowl wrapped with seaweed and sweet stir-fried anchovies and nuts.
Even while sick, she didn’t lose her appetite. Looking much healthier than in the past when she forced herself to suppress her appetite, she provided a heartwarming sight by preparing healthy home-cooked meals. Being generous, she showed her warm side by feeding the other ‘I Live Alone’ cast members her homemade anchovy and seaweed rice.

Joy, who is like a younger sister to her, happily opened her mouth to eat the rice Kim Shin-young gave her. Seo Beom-jun, Park Ji-hyun, and Code Kunst also enjoyed the mukbang like baby birds, noting, “There are people who bring food, but no one who actually feeds us.”
Her life as a homebody chef didn’t end there. After finishing the first bowl of rice, she made her soul food, tteokbokki, by preparing the sauce herself and adding fish cakes and cabbage. Her diligence in making everything by hand without any deliveries boosted her positive image among viewers.
