An anecdote about actress Jun Ji-hyun confusing Koo Kyo-hwan with Park Jung-min has been revealed.
On the 16th, a video titled “Outing is just an excuse” was posted on the YouTube channel ‘DdeunDdeun’ (Pinggyego).
In the video, Jun Ji-hyun began sharing an episode about Koo Kyo-hwan, saying, “When I first met Koo Kyo-hwan…”
Koo Kyo-hwan shared, “Park Jung-min had a temporary break for a while. (Jun Ji-hyun) said, ‘Oh? I heard you’re taking a break lately.’ It turns out she confused me with Jung-min.”
To this, Jun Ji-hyun laughed awkwardly, explaining, “Since both of you worked with Director Yeon Sang-ho, I momentarily got confused.”
Koo Kyo-hwan caused laughter by revealing, “Since it was our first meeting, I just pretended to be Park Jung-min.” He chose not to correct her to avoid making Jun Ji-hyun feel embarrassed.
He added, “I thought it might be rude to say no right then. I couldn’t just say ‘No, I’m not’ when we first met. So I said, ‘Yes, I’m planning to try again now.'”
