Comedian Kim Shin-young is proving exactly why she’s the perfect addition to the ‘Knowing Bros’ cast!
In the JTBC ‘Knowing Bros’ episode aired on the 16th, I.O.I made a legendary return, re-entering the classroom for the first time in 10 years since their graduation.
After giving individual introductions that brought back memories from a decade ago, the I.O.I members caught up with the “Hyungs” and shared funny stories.
During the show, Min Kyung-hoon mentioned that he had been checking the viewership charts and brought up some historical ratings for ‘Knowing Bros’.
He revealed that the recent episodes featuring Kim Shin-young, who joined as a fixed member, have achieved the highest ratings of the year, earning her a round of applause!
Min Kyung-hoon also noted, “It’s the same for I.O.I. We were really struggling 10 years ago,” pointing out that I.O.I were the first guests to ever push the ratings past 2%.
When Kang Ho-dong called them “founding members,” Chungha warmly recalled, “You said the exact same thing back then, praising us by saying ‘We survived thanks to you’.”
I.O.I has already been making headlines with the news of their reunion to celebrate their 10th debut anniversary.
After greeting fans with a pre-release track on the 4th, I.O.I will release their third mini-album ‘I.O.I : LOOP’ on the 19th. They are also set to kick off their Asia tour with a solo concert at the Jamsil Indoor Stadium in Seoul from the 29th to the 31st.
