In the JTBC Saturday-Sunday drama ‘Everyone is Fighting Their Own Worthlessness’ aired on the 16th, Hwang Dong-man (Goo Kyo-hwan) was shown regaining his strength through the support of Byeon Eun-ah (Go Youn-jung) while suffering from extreme anxiety ahead of his debut as a movie director.
On this episode, Hwang Dong-man felt crushed by a heavy sense of responsibility after signing a support contract with the Korean Film Council. He became increasingly intimidated as those around him gave realistic warnings that he would “want to run away hundreds of times,” and demands to delete slanderous posts continued to pour in.
Even in front of a celebration cake, instead of wishing for success, he first repented, saying “I was wrong.” This was because he realized that he, too, had once wished for someone else’s failure.
Watching this, Byeon Eun-ah told him, “If you want to run away, I’ll let you run away,” adding, “I won’t let you experience the same fear I did.” She then hugged Hwang Dong-man like a “powerful mother,” creating a truly touching moment.
Following her support, Hwang Dong-man mimicked a Best New Director award speech, confessing, “I wouldn’t have been able to stand here without you.”

Hwang Dong-man was no longer shaken. He personally visited a contractor and stood his ground, stating, “I need something scary right now. If you show it to me properly, ten million won isn’t a waste.” As the contractor backed down, intimidated by his energy, Hwang Dong-man shouted, “There is no evil in me, there is strength!” showing his awakening.
Meanwhile, Oh Jung-hee (Bae Jong-ok) immediately recognized Byeon Eun-ah’s identity hiding behind the pen name ‘Young-shil,’ creating a new wave of tension.
Episode 10 of ‘Everyone is Fighting Their Own Worthlessness’ will air on the 17th at 10:30 PM.
