Actress Jun Ji-hyun has revealed her personal philosophy when it comes to investing in stocks.

On May 16, actors Jun Ji-hyun, Koo Kyo-hwan, and Ji Chang-wook, who star in the movie Gunche, appeared on the web variety show Pinggyego.

During the episode, the conversation naturally shifted toward stock investing. Ji Chang-wook mentioned, “I’ve been looking into US stocks lately. Isn’t it so interesting?” He added, “I think it’s safer to entrust my money to smart CEOs rather than myself, as there’s a higher chance I’d fail than those companies would.”

Nam Chang-hee also chimed in, “I’m a total investor. A ‘super ant.’ I really like stocks, though my returns aren’t that great. I’m not in the negative, but I’m just barely staying in the plus. The KOSPI went up recently, but since I only hold KOSDAQ stocks, mine didn’t go up at all. They’ll probably rise soon.”

Jun Ji-hyun shared, “I’ve been doing it for a long time. I set a target profit, and if it looks good, I sell immediately.” She added, “There are many times when it goes into the negative, but in those cases, I just wait.”

Hearing this, Yoo Jae-suk remarked, “I know quite a few people who invest in stocks, but not many can cut it off strictly once they hit their target profit. It’s not easy.”

Meanwhile, Jun Ji-hyun is estimated to have real estate assets worth 150 billion won, including commercial buildings in Deungchon-dong, Gangseo-gu and Samseong-dong, Gangnam-gu, as well as a duplex penthouse at Acro Seoul Forest in Seongdong-gu, Seoul.
