Police have reportedly visited the restaurant run by Lee Ha-neul of DJ DOC.
According to a report by MHN Sports on the 17th, police were dispatched twice to Lee Ha-neul’s gopchang restaurant in Eunpyeong-gu, Seoul, on the night of the 16th following civil complaints. At the time, Lee Ha-neul was reportedly spending time with customers while playing music from a DJ table.
The DJing and live broadcasting continued for about an hour and a half, with some citizens spotted watching the scene from inside and outside the store.
This sparked various reactions online, with some questioning if this is the correct way to operate a general restaurant and arguing that it is no different from an entertainment venue.

The establishment was previously embroiled in controversy back in February, with allegations of Food Sanitation Act violations and rumors of business suspension after scenes of a performance during a fan meeting were revealed.
Regarding this, Lee Ha-neul stated in an interview with MHN Sports, “Since business is going well, there are times when complaints are filed.” He added, “The police requested caution on-site, but it’s hard to see it as a major issue.”
He further explained, “I understood it as a request for cooperation, and the police withdrew after confirming the situation on-site.”
He mentioned that he reinforced the facilities following hygiene-related complaints and stated, “I am operating the DJing to a level that does not cause harm to the surroundings.”
Additionally, he added that he is operating the business after receiving inspections from the city and district offices and obtaining legal advice, and is currently taking legal action against some YouTubers who spread false information.
