The band LUCY has finally entered the KSPO DOME as a full group following the discharge of Shin Kwang-il.
On the 17th, the band LUCY held their solo concert, ‘2026 LUCY 9TH CONCERT ‘ISLAND” (hereafter ‘ISLAND’), at the KSPO DOME (Olympic Gymnastics Arena) in Songpa-gu, Seoul.
This performance was particularly meaningful as it marked LUCY’s first time performing at the Olympic Gymnastics Arena and their first full-group solo concert since Shin Kwang-il completed his military service.
While the production and scale were more grand to match the venue, the group emphasized their original colors by performing as a four-member unit instead of using the various sessions they had in previous stages.

The show kicked off with ‘발아’ from their recently released second full-length album ‘Childish’.
The fairytale-like violin melodies, reminiscent of Ghibli animations, created an atmosphere that felt like inviting the audience to a fantasy island, perfectly matching the concert title ‘ISLAND’.
This was followed by ‘개화’, which captured the excitement and freshness of spring, ‘히어로’, which melted in the cozy and warm emotions of a winter night, and ‘뜨거’, which contained the hot and explosive energy under the midsummer sun.
LUCY’s Choi Sang-yeop shared, “We’ve returned as a full group just as we take the stage at KSPO Dome. Not only us, but the fans must have waited so much for Kwang-il, who returned after fulfilling his national duty for about a year and six months.”
He continued, “Following yesterday, today is the final concert, and I love the excited atmosphere unique to the last show. Seeing some people unable to contain their excitement from the very first song made me realize this is what we’ve been running toward.” He added his ambition, saying, “We will show you exactly why the final concert is the best.”
Meanwhile, LUCY has steadily expanded their performance scale, starting from the Blue Square Mastercard Hall to the Jangchung Gymnasium and the Ticketlink Live Arena. By reaching the Olympic Gymnastics Arena six years after their debut, they symbolically announced the start of a new chapter.
