Huh Young-man met a true fan who was so excited their hands were shaking while getting an autograph!
In the May 17 episode of TV CHOSUN’s ‘Baekban Journey’, author Huh Young-man and announcer Lee Geum-hee enjoyed a meal together in Goyang.
The two shared a laugh when Huh Young-man playfully asked Lee Geum-hee what kind of man she likes. When she replied that a handsome man who loves good food would be ideal, he jokingly responded, “That’s me!”
Later, at a perilla oil makguksu restaurant, the owner—a massive fan of Huh Young-man—expressed their excitement, saying, “You are my BTS and BLACKPINK!” The owner shared that since they didn’t major in culinary arts, they learned a lot through ‘Sikgaek’ and considers Huh Young-man very special, even bringing out a book for an autograph.
The owner, who was originally a computer science student, showed their pure fan heart by shaking uncontrollably while receiving the signature. Lee Geum-hee celebrated the moment, saying, “It’s like you’ve met your master!”
The owner also received an autograph from Lee Geum-hee, mentioning a sense of familiarity as they both share a connection to Cheongpa-dong, where Sookmyung Women’s University is located. When Huh Young-man asked if the dish was just regular makguksu, the owner showed great ambition, stating they are studying and researching to create the most unique buckwheat noodles in the world.
