Singer Kim Jang-hoon has once again shown his heart of gold, keeping a special promise made on ‘Hidden Singer 8’ to spread positive influence.
According to OSEN, Kim Jang-hoon and firefighter Kim Jun-sik from the Gyeongbuk 119 Forest Fire Special Response Team recently donated 20 million won to the Hope Bridge National Disaster Relief Association to support the recovery of neighbors affected by forest fires.
This heartwarming gesture began during Kim Jang-hoon’s episode of JTBC’s ‘Hidden Singer 8’. Firefighter Kim Jun-sik, who appeared as an impersonator, promised to donate his prize money to forest fire victims if he won. Although he was unfortunately eliminated, Kim Jang-hoon was so moved by his sincerity that he donated the full 20 million won himself and suggested making it a joint donation.
With cumulative donations reaching approximately 21 billion won, this gift holds a special meaning for Kim Jang-hoon. He has long been a staunch supporter of firefighters, leading various campaigns such as producing the song and music video ‘Hero’, hosting concerts for firefighters, and recently performing at the 39th National Firefighting Technology Competition to spend meaningful time with active-duty firefighters.
Meanwhile, Kim Jang-hoon is staying busy connecting with fans of all ages. He recently received an enthusiastic response at university festivals, including Hongik University and Sogang University, and his national tour ‘One Man Show’ is continuing to draw steady interest as it visits more than 30 cities across the country.
He is also receiving praise from music fans for his new releases, ‘Honey’ with Noel’s Kang Kyun-sung and ‘I Only Sang’ with Haha. In particular, the joint concert ‘I Only Sang’ with Haha became a hot topic after selling out rapidly following the announcement.
Kim Jang-hoon will continue his ‘One Man Show’ national tour, meeting fans in Seongnam on the 23rd, Bucheon on the 31st, Changwon on June 6, Ulsan on the 7th, Seoul from the 10th to the 14th, Jecheon on the 20th, Chuncheon on the 21st, and Daejeon on the 28th.
