Singer MC Mong’s attempt to express his unfairness has turned into a mudslinging fight, just as expected.
During a live broadcast on the 18th, while denying allegations of illegal gambling and prostitution, MC Mong launched a “messy exposure war” by indiscriminately mentioning the names of fellow celebrities, including Kim Min-jong, EXO Baekhyun, and THE BOYZ. However, the public reaction has been cold, with many expressing extreme fatigue over a fight that lacks justification.
MC Mong claimed that a certain “Person A” operates a so-called “Baduki gambling ring” involving billions of won, naming actor Kim Min-jong and the former CEO of singer Kim Ho-joong’s agency. He even continued with provocative private revelations unrelated to the core issue, claiming there is a recording that “Kim Min-jong drives a Rolls Royce with money received from the gambling ring and gave 10 million won to a woman he took to Japan after receiving tips at a room salon.”

He also didn’t hesitate to claim that Person A encouraged EXO Baekhyun to gamble and is currently dating a middle-aged actress. Of course, these are merely one-sided claims by MC Mong without any clear evidence provided. The individuals involved have not yet given a specific response.

This logic ignores the basic structure of the entertainment industry. Deciding on a large signing bonus to recruit an artist is entirely a company’s management decision. While requesting transparent settlement details according to a contract is a natural right of an artist, dismissing this as being a “nuisance” simply because they received a lot of money is a dangerous idea that shakes the foundation of the industry.
If he wanted to prove his innocence, he could have fought with objective evidence within the legal framework. Instead, MC Mong turned this into a “war of public opinion.” He irresponsibly dragged in the private lives of other celebrities who have nothing to do with the essence of the situation. This is a violent and selfish method that creates more victims just to resolve his own grievances.

The result of throwing raw emotions at the public is disastrous. Only provocative keywords like “Baduki gambling ring” and “room salon tips” are rampant, while the unfairness he originally wanted to talk about has evaporated. The public, forced to watch this indiscriminate fighting without justification or goodwill, is feeling extreme fatigue.
