LE SSERAFIM Unveils ‘Boompala’ Teaser: Will It Be Another Bold Concept Like ‘Spaghetti’?

LE SSERAFIM dropped the music video teaser for the title track of their second full album, ‘Pureflow pt.1’, on the HYBE Labels YouTube channel and Source Music’s official SNS on the 20th.

The video is set against the backdrop of a vast desert. The global hit ‘Macarena’ plays in the background, and a camel cries out as if responding to the music. Then, a massive statue representing LE SSERAFIM rises through the rough sand, stealing the spotlight. Scenes of meditation and singing along to the music add to the excitement, ramping up curiosity for the full music video.

‘Boompala’ delivers the message that, depending on one’s perspective and attitude, fear can actually be nothing more than an illusion. The track samples the timelessly loved ‘Macarena.’ After previously revealing a portion of the addictive chorus where ‘Boompala’ is chanted like a spell, this MV teaser finally unveils the sampled section. The combination of a familiar melody and LE SSERAFIM’s trendy beat signals the birth of a song that will capture ears worldwide.

LE SSERAFIM’s second full album, ‘Pureflow pt.1’, will be released on the 22nd at 1 PM. The album captures the changes and growth the five members experienced as they came to understand fear. Through this record, the members show an attitude of moving forward by acknowledging and accepting fear instead of denying it. The album features a total of 11 songs, and all members are credited in the new release.
