[Exclusive] BTS Set to Storm the 2026 AMAs! Will They Take Home More Trophies?

BTS (J-Hope, Suga, Jimin, Jin, RM, Jungkook, V) are heading to the AMAs!

According to reports on the 20th, BTS will attend the 2026 American Music Awards on the 25th at 5 PM local time, held at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.

The group is nominated in three categories: the prestigious Artist of the Year, Song of the Summer, and Best Male K-Pop Artist.

The American Music Awards is one of the three major music awards in the US, alongside the Grammy Awards and Billboard Music Awards. This marks BTS’s fifth appearance, following 2017, 2018, 2019, and 2021. Notably, they became the first Asian artists to win Artist of the Year in 2021. Now that they have resumed full-group activities after completing their military service, fans are eagerly waiting to see if they will lift another trophy.

In March, they released their 5th studio album ‘ARIRANG’, which topped the Billboard 200 for three consecutive weeks. This is the first time a group album has achieved this since Mumford & Sons in 2012, and BTS is the only Korean artist to hold the top spot for three weeks.

BTS is currently on their North American tour and is scheduled to perform at the halftime show of the 2026 FIFA North Central America World Cup final in July.
