Not Yoo Jae-suk or Shin Dong-yup! Ahn Jung-hwan to MC TikTok Korea’s First Original Variety Show “Tiki Taka Show”

Broadcaster Ahn Jung-hwan shared his thoughts on becoming the MC for TikTok’s first original variety show, “Tiki Taka Show.”

A production press conference for “Tiki Taka Show,” TikTok’s first original variety content in Korea, was held on May 21 at The Link Hotel in Sindorim, Guro-gu, Seoul. The event was attended by Yoon Chul (TikTok Korea News & Sports Head), PD Kim Dong-wook, Ahn Jung-hwan, DinDin, and Lee Eun-ji.

During the event, Ahn Jung-hwan revealed, “I felt a lot of pressure when I received the offer. Since it’s a talk show that deals with soccer, there was some burden, but because interest in Korean soccer has decreased, I decided to participate with the goal of using TikTok to spark that interest again.”

He added, “I’m doing my absolute best, hoping that many more fun programs will be created, not just those focused on soccer.”

“Tiki Taka Show” is a talk variety show that uses soccer as a medium to tackle various topics in a battle format. It will be hosted by Ahn Jung-hwan, DinDin, and Lee Eun-ji. The show will stream every Monday and Thursday at 8 PM on the TikTok Korea account starting from the 25th, consisting of 12 episodes in total.
