Comedian Kim Hae-jun revealed his unique diet meal.
Kim Hae-jun appeared as a guest on the May 21 broadcast of KBS Cool FM’s ‘Paul Kim’s Gayo Gwangjang’ (hereafter ‘Gayo Gwangjang’).
When asked if he had eaten lunch, Kim Hae-jun replied, “I did. I worked out this morning. I’m on a diet, so I had chicken breast.”
When Paul Kim asked, “Just chicken breast?” a momentarily flustered Kim Hae-jun asked, “Why are you being so detailed?” before admitting, “Two chicken breasts…” Paul Kim laughed, saying, “You ate two? How is that a diet?”
Kim Hae-jun claimed there is a specific ratio of chicken breast to eat based on body weight. He added, “I had some spinach, bean sprouts, and stir-fried kimchi on the side,” to which Paul Kim responded, “Isn’t that basically bibimbap? It just needs gochujang to be bibimbap,” and asked, “Did you not eat rice?”
When Kim Hae-jun answered, “I eat a little rice. You need to eat carbohydrates,” Paul Kim joked, “How is that any different from eating pork neck?” causing laughter.
Later, Kim Hae-jun lamented, “There’s been so much talk about my weight lately. People don’t understand why I can’t lose weight.” Paul Kim replied, “Honestly, I’m worried. Between when we first met and now… I’ll stop here.”
Kim Hae-jun explained, “I guess I’m just too happy when I eat. People around me ask why I can’t lose weight, but the shows I’m on involve eating, and there are various reasons. That’s why I don’t think I’ve lost much.”
