Entertainer Jun Hyun-moo is left speechless by designer Ko Tae-yong’s brutal honesty on ‘Boss in the Mirror’.
Designer Ko Tae-yong will appear on the KBS 2TV show ‘Boss in the Mirror’ (Sadanggui) airing on the 24th. Ko Tae-yong is a genius designer who made history as the youngest to debut at Seoul Fashion Week at age 26. He is also well-known for creating the widely loved ‘Gaeti’.
During the episode, Ko Tae-yong criticizes the current state of the fashion industry, saying, “The world is really something.” During the first design meeting for the autumn season, he begins pouring out a stream of criticisms. His blunt feedback during the employees’ design briefings creates a tense atmosphere. Jun Hyun-moo is left gaping, remarking that it feels like a real-life version of ‘The Devil Wears Prada’.

Furious over the quality of the first drafts, Ko Tae-yong raises his voice, shouting, “The fashion world is rotten. It has collapsed.” He catches everyone’s attention by repeatedly claiming, “The fashion world is rotten to the core” whenever employees make mistakes. He even sparks laughter by stating, “Honestly, there should be more nagging. It changes the final result.” In response, NCT leader Taeyong, appearing as a special MC, empathizes, saying, “Nagging also requires affection.”
‘Boss in the Mirror’ will air on the 24th at 4:40 PM.
