In her series ‘Hello, I am Choi Hwa-jung,’ Choi Hwa-jung generously treated a neighboring table to a case of soju after they showed her kindness while she was dining alone.
On May 14, a new video titled ‘The more you chew, the more the savoriness explodes! A hidden frozen pork belly gem in Choi Hwa-jung’s neighborhood (+ A tour of Seongsu-dong)’ was uploaded to Choi Hwa-jung’s YouTube channel. Choi Hwa-jung visited ‘Ttukdo Youth Market’ near her home in Seongsu-dong. Celebrating Children’s Day, she showed off her appetite with an impressive three-round food tour.
While enjoying two servings of pork belly at her second stop, Choi Hwa-jung received some enoki mushrooms from the table next to her. The neighbors shyly explained, “We don’t think we can finish these enoki mushrooms, so we’re giving them to you.” Choi Hwa-jung responded, “Then I should send over some drinks. Would you like a bottle of soju?” As they laughed shyly, she coolly declared, “Bring them a whole case of soju! Please take it, and feel free to take the rest home!”
“I’ll pay for the case of soju too,” Choi Hwa-jung said, coolly settling the bill before heading off to her third round of eating.
