Actor Kim Seon-ho (Fantagio) shared his thoughts after successfully completing the play ‘Secret Passage’.
On May 3, Kim Seon-ho wrapped up the final performance of ‘Secret Passage’ at the NOL Theater Daehakro Woori Investment Securities Hall. He concluded his three-month journey, earning thunderous applause from the audience for his powerful performance.
‘Secret Passage’ is based on the work ‘The Room of Flaws’ by Tomohiro Maekawa, a renowned Japanese playwright and director. The play mysteriously and warmly depicts two men who meet in an unfamiliar space having lost their memories, searching for the meaning of connection, death, and repeated lives through books containing intertwined memories.
Kim Seon-ho took the stage as ‘Dong-jae’, a man who seems to have spent a familiar amount of time in a mysterious space. He captivated the audience by stably handling multiple roles, including characters from past and previous lives, perfectly distinguishing them through his tone and accent.
Furthermore, Kim Seon-ho completed the character’s evolving emotions with detailed acting, leaving a deep impression while making the audience both laugh and cry. His delicate gaze added depth to the character’s story, and his clear diction maximized the audience’s immersion.
With his unrivaled stage presence and acting skills, Kim Seon-ho filled the play perfectly. In particular, he once again proved his star power by achieving the overwhelming record of selling out every single performance.
Kim Seon-ho, who is under the same agency, Fantagio, as Cha Eun-woo (who is currently serving in the military), shared his sincere feelings: “I was truly happy on stage throughout the production. I want to tell the actors, staff, and everyone who worked hard for this performance, as well as the audience, that I am so grateful and I love you.” He added, “Not a single moment was forgettable during this time, whether it felt short or long. It was a time when I could grow and reflect more on my acting. I think it will remain deep in my heart as one of the most meaningful times of my life. Everyone worked so hard, and I am truly grateful.”
After finishing ‘Secret Passage’, Kim Seon-ho plans to continue meeting the public through various activities. He has a busy schedule ahead, including the Coupang Play variety show ‘Bonjour Bakery’, set to premiere on May 8, and the Disney+ original series ‘Hypnosis’, scheduled for release in the second half of the year.
Expectations are also rising for his future steps as he continues to communicate with global fans through the ‘2026 KIM SEONHO FANMEETING ASIA TOUR’.
