EBS ‘Space Gonggam’, airing May 27 at 10:50 PM, will reveal a special meeting between Jannabi and teenagers gathered to experience their very first concert.
Out of a staggering 63,140 applicants, about 200 teenagers from all over the country were selected through a fierce competition to join this performance.
Expressing their love for the stage, Jannabi shared, “I hope this first experience remains a wonderful memory,” adding, “We’ll strive to make this another legendary episode of ‘Space Gonggam’.”
They also touched upon their long-standing teamwork, saying, “It wasn’t an easy path, but we were able to overcome it because we were together.”
On this day, Jannabi will showcase their unique emotional vibes with a setlist including ‘After School Activity’, ‘Operation Youth!’, ‘Legend’, ‘In the Name of Love!’, and ‘For Lovers Who Hesitate’.
Specifically regarding ‘In the Name of Love!’, they explained, “The lyric ‘An unyielding smile is our pride’ is my favorite,” and noted that the song was written while imagining the expressions of teenage boys and girls.
Jannabi offered warm encouragement to the young audience, saying, “Even if you don’t fully understand what these lyrics mean now, I hope they provide great strength when difficult moments arrive in the future.”
They also reminisced about their own youth, saying, “I had a dream of being in a band, and the thought of achieving that dream made my school days truly happy every single day. I hope that after watching today’s performance, each of you takes away a burning spark in your heart.”
