Actor Kim Ji-ho has shared a recent update following the controversy surrounding her scribbling in a public library book.
On the 12th, Kim Ji-ho posted a selfie in her car on her SNS story with the caption, “Coming home to lift my mood after finishing rehab.” She also shared a clip of her rehabilitation exercises, adding, “Exercise that’s only possible with full support and help. Don’t give up even if it hurts.”
In the video, Kim Ji-ho is seen focusing on her workout while relying on rehabilitation equipment. Dressed comfortably and sporting a natural, makeup-free look, her thinner facial lines and more gaunt appearance caught fans’ attention. Despite this, she showed her strong will to recover, maintaining a bright smile while dedicating herself to the exercises.

The controversy sparked when it was revealed that the book she scribbled in was a public library book with a barcode. Netizens criticized the act, calling it “damaging public property,” “beyond common sense,” and “thoughtless.” The backlash grew further after it was discovered that she had previously posted photos of herself underlining text in library books.
As the controversy spread, Kim Ji-ho issued a direct apology. “I am sorry to those who were uncomfortable due to my careless actions,” she stated. “Even though it was a book borrowed from a public library, my habit of underlining in my own books came out. It was an absurd action.” She further attempted to resolve the situation by adding, “I will provide a new copy of the book or pay the cost to replace it.”
Meanwhile, back in February, Kim Ji-ho had shared a health update via SNS, stating, “I have been receiving treatment and rehabilitation for over three months due to a strained waist and radiating pain.”
