Actor Ahn Jae-hyun brought plenty of laughs to viewers on “Gugidong Friends” as he looked like his soul was leaving his body in real-time while dealing with the high-tension energy of the other members.
In a recent episode of tvN’s “Gugidong Friends,” the ’87z members embarked on a chaotic day trip to Tokyo, Japan, led by Jang Keun-suk, alongside the surprise appearance of “catfish girl” Kani. During the May 22 broadcast, Ahn Jae-hyun stole the spotlight as the ultimate “softie” amidst the overflowing energy of the group.
The Gugidong house instantly exploded with energy when star choreographer Kani arrived. Kani showcased her signature “smooth smooth challenge,” and while the female friends joined in with total excitement, Ahn Jae-hyun looked completely flustered and drained, creating a hilarious contrast.
Before he could even recover from the high tension, Ahn Jae-hyun set off on a “Spartan Tokyo Tour” designed by Jang Keun-suk. The ’87z journey began at dawn with just a single bag, following an impromptu decision made only seven hours before departure. However, as soon as they hit Tokyo, Ahn Jae-hyun began to panic at Jang Keun-suk’s incredibly tight itinerary.
The chaos peaked at a charcoal-grilled beef tongue specialty restaurant, visited just 40 minutes after they had finished two meals at a fish market. When Jang Keun-suk announced a “12-minute time limit” for the meal to stay on schedule, Ahn Jae-hyun’s shocked expression and look of pure unfairness left his friends in stitches.
After the meal, while Jang Keun-suk was settling the bill, Ahn Jae-hyun and Kyung Soo-jin took a brief moment to enjoy the romantic atmosphere of the alleyways. However, the moment was short-lived as Jang Keun-suk rushed them to their next reservation for chicken sukiyaki, leading to a “funny yet sad” situation.
From Kani’s high-energy challenge to Jang Keun-suk’s whirlwind tour, Ahn Jae-hyun served as the perfect “sweet and salty” icon, adding a lot of humor to the show’s fast-paced events.
