A video titled “Actually not innocent(?) Apink, telling all the stories from debut days” was uploaded to the YouTube channel ‘Chaohru’ on the 16th.
In the video, Apink’s youngest member Hayoung and oldest member Chorong appeared as guests to reminisce about the group’s early days.
Recalling Apink’s pure debut image, Chaohru mentioned, “Back then, seniors like Sistar and Secret both had sexy concepts, so Apink really stood out in my memory.”
Hayoung shared, “We practiced the songs with so much power, but then we found out we had to sing them ‘prettily.’ I spent so much time recording because of all the corrections.”
Chorong added, “I got scolded by the composer during recording. It was so hard to create that pure and clean vibe. We were actually far from being ‘innocent,’ and we weren’t the type to dress in a pretty style.”
Hayoung brought some laughs by admitting, “Even while wearing skirts, I’d sit with my legs wide open, and because I felt awkward in heels, I walked with my toes pointed outward. I got scolded for it every day!”
