Ayane shared on the 20th, “Ruhee was sick for 10 days starting two Sundays ago, and last Sunday, she suffered from a high fever, conjunctivitis, and otitis media. Meanwhile, I received news that my thyroid levels were abnormal during a pregnancy check-up, which left me feeling anxious while dealing with morning sickness.”
She continued, “Our first planned overseas trip to Bali was canceled. On Monday, both Ruhee and I visited the hospital. I was happy to hear that my levels are gradually returning to normal after a re-test! Ruhee has also improved a lot and is fully recovering, as seen in the last photo.” She added, “I value the opinions many of you shared regarding my previous post and will always strive to become a better person!! This became an opportunity for me to rethink my attitude toward my child and those around me, and I felt that I need to grow more than I thought.”
Ayane added, “I believe all these events are a way to make me reflect on myself and my current situation. Now that both Ruhee and I are doing much better, I need to find my strength again! But seriously, when will this morning sickness end?”
She further updated her fans, “The past week was truly like a war. Dealing with morning sickness, preparing for a trip, and taking care of my child… On Sunday morning, my morning sickness disappeared, and I thought, ‘Yes!! Let’s go on the trip!!!’ but then Ruhee suddenly got a high fever… I felt once again that things don’t go my way. I prayed for Ruhee not to be sick, and she recovered a lot in two days!! We can just go on the trip next time. Your health is the top priority!! But since I’m not going to Bali, the morning sickness is coming back…”
Meanwhile, Ayane married Lee Ji-hoon, who is 18 years her senior, in 2021. They welcomed their daughter Ruhee in 2024, and Ayane is currently pregnant with their second child.
Ayane recently sparked controversy after posting that she found candy wrappers in Ruhee’s daycare bag, claiming she was “shocked” because the baby is still on a salt-free diet.
