The members of BABYMONSTER have finally revealed their heights for the first time!
On the 15th, Red Velvet’s Seulgi welcomed BABYMONSTER’s Ruka, Ahyeon, and Chiquita on her YouTube channel, ‘Hi Seulgi’.
During the episode, Ahyeon picked Chiquita as the member with the coolest style. Ahyeon expressed her admiration, saying, “I’ve never tried a style like Chiquita’s clean, all-black looks. I think Chiquita is always great at matching her outfits.”
Ahyeon added, “I think that kind of fashion only works if you’re tall. Her legs are basically 2m long!” This prompted Seulgi to ask about their heights, with Ahyeon revealing she is 163cm and Ruka is 158cm.
Chiquita shared, “Fans don’t know our heights yet. They think we’re over 170cm, but I’m actually 165cm.” Surprised by this, Seulgi commented, “Everyone’s proportions are incredible!” The members noted that this is the first time they’ve ever shared their heights, explaining they just hadn’t had the chance. Seulgi then jokingly shared her own height, saying, “I’m 161cm. I found out I grew 1cm during a health checkup,” which brought laughter to the group.
Meanwhile, Ruka looked back on her most memorable moment since debut, recalling her concerts. Ruka shared, “The moment the lift went up during the concert, I could really feel how much love I’m receiving, which felt amazing.” Ahyeon also mentioned her birthday concert in Japan, saying, “I had a concert on my birthday in Japan. I’m here because I achieved my dream, and I really felt how many people love me on my birthday. I cried a lot, thinking I made the right choice in choosing this path.”
