Actor Oh Jung-se got emotional and teary-eyed after receiving heartfelt praise from his senior, Shin Ha-kyun.
On May 20, a new episode of ‘Yoo In Radio’ Season 3 was uploaded to YouTube titled “With God, Fairy, and Hubbly, how can it be 50%, it’s 100%.” The guests for the day were Heo Sung-tae, Oh Jung-se, and Shin Ha-kyun, the lead actors of MBC’s new Friday-Saturday drama ‘Fifty Percent’.
Since Shin Ha-kyun and Oh Jung-se mentioned they feel awkward receiving compliments, a special “Impromptu Praise Relay” segment was prepared for them.
After being nominated by Yoo In-na, Shin Ha-kyun picked Oh Jung-se and shared, “Jung-se, I’ve seen you on set, and you’re an actor who is always full of ideas and puts in so much effort. I’ve learned a lot from you.”
Yoo In-na reacted by saying, “That’s so touching,” while Oh Jung-se froze for a moment before replying, “Thank you.”
Suddenly, Oh Jung-se’s eyes welled up, leading the production staff to bring him tissues. This left Heo Sung-tae puzzled, asking, “Wait, why are you crying?” while Oh Jung-se just smiled shyly.
As everyone kept asking why he was crying, Oh Jung-se slyly joked, “The writer wrote ‘please cry’ in the script for this part, so I did it. I’m not sure if it looked natural.”
However, Ko Young-bae raised a suspicion, saying, “If it were a script, would they have prepared a roll of toilet paper like that?” To which Oh Jung-se admitted, “It wouldn’t tear. Are they made to be this tough these days?”
