Apgujeong Building Owner Park Jung-soo Opens Up About Her Luxury Bag Obsession:

Park Jung-soo recently showed off her long-time luxury collection.

On May 20, a video titled “If I sell this, an apartment?! Park Jung-soo’s legendary vintage luxury reveal from 40 years ago” was uploaded to the channel ‘웬만해선 정수를 막을 수 없다’.

In the video, Park Jung-soo joked, “It looks like a second-hand luxury shop,” as she brought out her beloved collection of luxury bags and shoes gathered until the early 2000s.

When the production team asked her to bring her favorite items, she jokingly got defensive, saying, “You told me to bring favorite items. What if you take even one of them?” adding a laugh to the scene.

She introduced various bags that have stayed in her closet for a long time, ranging from Gucci pieces produced in the 1970s to Louis Vuitton. The staff were impressed by how well-maintained the items were despite their age.

When asked about her most expensive bag, she showed an Italian brand bag and said, “In terms of current value, the crocodile leather one would be the most expensive. I think it would cost about 30 million won if bought now.” She added, “I spent a large sum of money on it because I love big sizes and the red color is so beautiful. I bought it for 8 million won at the time.”

Regarding her luxury shopping habits, Park Jung-soo shared, “I think I lived for the joy of collecting these. Please understand. I must have relieved my stress with this back when I only worked.”

Meanwhile, Park Jung-soo married a businessman in 1975 and had two children before later divorcing by mutual agreement. Since 2008, she has been in a public relationship with Director Jung Eul-young, the father of actor Jung Kyung-ho.

She previously revealed her five-story building in Apgujeong-dong on a broadcast. Mentioning her partner of 15 years, Director Jung Eul-young, she said, “This space is the studio where the man I live with works.” The building, which she owns and was completed in 2011, has leased spaces from the basement to the 4th floor, with the 5th floor serving as Director Jung Eul-young’s studio.
