Billlie is back and bolder than ever, returning with a unique musical world and powerful performances that push all boundaries!
On May 6, Billlie (Siyoon, Sheon, Tsuki, Moon Sua, Haram, Suhyun, and Haruna) met with Billlieves worldwide through an online and offline showcase for their first full album, ‘the collective soul and unconscious: chapter two’, held at the SBS Prism Tower in Mapo-gu, Seoul.
The group kicked things off by heating up the atmosphere with the first-ever performance of their title track ‘ZAP’, featuring intense choreography over a gritty beat. Instead of being tied to the past, Billlie expressed their determination to stay true to themselves regardless of outside perspectives through sophisticated energy. The ‘hook dance’, a point choreography that mimics unlocking a lock to reveal a secret, was a major highlight.
Billlie further proved their wide musical spectrum by seamlessly switching between genres with the hybrid-style double title track ‘WORK’ and the Gen-Z vibe of ‘SOUPASTA’.
Returning with their first full-length album, the members dove deep into the tracks, sharing behind-the-scenes stories from the lyric-writing process. By exploring every detail of this album, which represents the culmination of their musical capabilities, they further solidified their unique identity as ‘conceptual icons’.
There was also a special event that showed just how much they love their fans. The members created handmade confetti featuring heartfelt messages like “Let’s be together slowly and for a long time,” “I hope Billlie can be the happiness in Billlieve’s daily life,” and “I love you to death, only you,” adding an emotional touch to the event.
To wrap up the showcase, Billlie delivered a lingering impression with ‘B’yond me’, highlighting their unique sensibility, delicate expression, and explosive vocals as confetti fluttered around the seven members.
Billlie shared their thoughts in Korean, Japanese, and English, saying, “Since you’ve waited so long for our first full album, we put our hearts into preparing it. We are so happy to show Billlieves a more grown-up version of Billlie. We will continue to repay you with great music and performances.”
Meanwhile, Billlie will hold a special busking event on May 7 at 6:30 PM at the Green Road Square in Mangwon Hangang Park, Mapo-gu, Seoul.
