Bora has finally shared the story behind her debut!
In the latest episode of the YouTube series ‘Jo Hyun-ah’s Ordinary Thursday Night’ released on the 14th, Bora, the actress and former member of SISTAR, sat down for a chat with singer Jo Hyun-ah.
Jo Hyun-ah sparked some laughs by asking, “SISTAR was so successful from the very first album, you had so many hits, did unit activities, acted, and even majored in musicals. What on earth was your actual dream?”
Piquing curiosity, Bora replied, “Actually… have I ever talked about this?” She then confessed, “When I was young, I happened to try ballet. I loved it so much and found it so fun. That was the first time I realized I was someone who could use my body and dance.”
Bora explained, “After realizing that, I started going to a musical academy. I thought, ‘This is how I’ll become a musical actress.’ That’s why I went to university to major in it.” She added, “While majoring in musicals, I was open to other paths if they came along.”
When Jo Hyun-ah asked, “So you debuted during college?” Bora recalled, “I finished my first year, took a leave of absence, and then debuted.”
