BOYNEXTDOOR (Sungho, Riwoo, Myung Jaehyun, Taesan, Leehan, Woonhak) is back and bringing some seriously cool charm!
On the 11th, BOYNEXTDOOR unveiled the music video for “Knock Knock Knock,” a pre-release track from their first full-length album ‘HOME’.
The music video is packed with intense energy. Moving away from their usual “boys next door” friendliness, the six members capture attention by radiating strong charisma. Their cool attitudes and cold facial expressions during a tense chase with intruders are absolutely captivating.
The members deliver vivid performances across various settings, including a house, stairways, outdoor lots, and downtown Seoul. They keep the tension high by rapping even while being chased and confronting intruders with chilling gazes and effortless composure. Fans will love the visual storytelling, featuring bold CG, such as a member falling from the sky and a house exploding, contrasted with striking black-and-white scenes.
Inspired by the “DOOR” in their group name, “Knock Knock Knock” is a hip-hop track that puts the sound of knocking front and center. The heavy sound and lyrics about six uninvited guests making a surprise visit provide a unique thrill. The listening experience is leveled up with alternating sounds of a familiar doorbell, the group’s signature knock, and doors opening, all blended with sharp synthesizers for a rich sound.
Myung Jaehyun, Taesan, and Woonhak participated in the songwriting, infusing the track with BOYNEXTDOOR’s unique personality. The song features provocative lyrics like “Suddenly trying to jump over your gate” and witty references to their previous albums, including the debut single ‘WHO!’, the first mini album ‘WHY..’, and the recent fifth mini album ‘The Action’. Adding to the freshness, Penomeco and Lil Moshpit joined the production team alongside ZICO and Pop Time, who always show great chemistry with the members.
“Knock Knock Knock” will be officially released as a digital track on the 11th at 6 PM. Starting with this pre-release song, the six members will sequentially roll out promotions for their first full-length album.
