Global pop icons BTS are set to conquer the heart of US entertainment, Las Vegas, once again! The ‘THE CITY’ project is back, turning the entire city into one giant festival ground that goes far beyond just a stage performance.
On the morning of the 8th, BTS captured the attention of ARMYs worldwide by posting detailed notices for ‘BTS THE CITY ARIRANG – LAS VEGAS’ (hereafter ‘THE CITY Las Vegas’) on their official fan community, Weverse.
This project will run in conjunction with the ‘BTS WORLD TOUR ‘ARIRANG’ IN LAS VEGAS,’ taking place from the 20th to the 31st. Las Vegas holds special meaning as the ‘promised land’ where the ‘THE CITY’ project first launched back in 2022.
This model, which provides fans with an immersive experience by filling the host city with the artist’s music and message, started in Las Vegas and expanded globally. In 2026, an even more evolved BTS is expected to showcase ‘THE CITY’ at the peak of the US cultural industry with unprecedented scale and glamour.
‘THE CITY Las Vegas’ boasts a different charm compared to ‘THE CITY Seoul’ held last March and April. While Seoul focused on the harmony of tradition and modernity, Las Vegas will leverage its overwhelming infrastructure for a spectacular scale.
On the night of the 23rd, the first day of the performance, the iconic ‘Strip’ area of Las Vegas will be bathed in red lighting, the key color of the new album ‘Arirang.’ Large electronic displays will feature messages welcoming BTS. That same night, a spectacular fireworks display will light up the sky above the MGM Grand hotel to signal the start of the festivities.
From the 21st to the 28th, ‘BTS POP-UP : ARIRANG’ will welcome fans at ‘The Forum Shops’ inside Caesars Palace. Additionally, there will be non-stop excitement with monorail wrapping, programs linked to major landmarks, exhibitions, and after-parties to keep the energy going through the night.
With the entire city transforming into a BTS theme park, ‘THE CITY Las Vegas’ is expected to be a global entertainment festival with value far beyond a simple concert.
