BTS shared the exciting details for ‘BTS THE CITY ARIRANG – LAS VEGAS’ on the global super-fan platform Weverse at 10 AM on the 8th. The urban project, ‘The City Las Vegas’, will run from the 20th to the 31st (local time) in connection with the ‘BTS WORLD TOUR ‘ARIRANG’ IN LAS VEGAS’.
Las Vegas holds a special meaning for both BTS and ‘The City’ project. It was the very starting point of ‘The City’, a concept that transforms a concert city into a space where fans can experience the artist’s music and message, presenting a whole new model for fan experiences.
Fans can look forward to a different kind of charm in ‘The City Las Vegas’ compared to ‘The City Seoul’ held back in March and April. While ‘The City Seoul’ blended cultural heritage with a modern touch, the Las Vegas edition is set to showcase an even larger scale by combining world-famous landmarks and entertainment infrastructure.
On the night of the 23rd, the first day of the performance, the ‘Strip’ area, known for its tourism and commerce, will be transformed into a welcome stage for BTS. Red lighting, the key color of their new album ‘ARIRANG’, will paint the streets, and massive digital billboards will display welcoming messages. To top it off, fireworks will light up the sky at the MGM Grand Hotel, ramping up the festive atmosphere.
The ‘BTS POP-UP : ARIRANG’ will be open from the 21st to the 28th at The Forum Shops at Caesars Palace. Additionally, there will be monorail wrapping, programs linked to major hotels and landmarks, exhibitions, and after-parties.
Meanwhile, BTS is continuing their dominance with their 5th full album ‘ARIRANG’, which has maintained a top position on the US Billboard main chart ‘Billboard 200’ for six weeks, currently ranking 5th. Furthermore, their title track ‘Swim’ made history as the first K-pop artist to top the ‘Hot 100’ for three consecutive weeks.
After kicking off their ‘ARIRANG’ world tour in Goyang last April, BTS is currently continuing ‘BTS WORLD TOUR ‘ARIRANG’ IN NORTH AMERICA’, performing a total of 31 shows across 12 North American cities.
