BTS Jimin Claims Top Spot in May Boy Group Individual Brand Reputation!

BTS’s Jimin has officially claimed the number one spot in the boy group individual brand reputation rankings for May, beating out the “discontinued oppa” Park Jihoon!

The Korea Corporate Reputation Research Institute analyzed 73,323,673 big data points from 755 boy group members between April 16 and May 16, 2026. The brand reputation index was analyzed based on consumer behavior through participation, media, communication, and community indices. Compared to the 115,591,013 data points from April, there was a 36.57% decrease.

The brand reputation index is a metric created through big data analysis, reflecting how online habits significantly impact brand consumption. Through this analysis, the positive and negative evaluations, media interest, and the amount of consumer interest and communication for boy group individuals can be measured. The analysis also includes brand value assessments to measure influence and qualitative evaluations from brand reputation monitors, with recommendation indices included as weights.

The top 30 rankings for the May 2026 boy group individual brand reputation are as follows: BTS Jimin, Wanna One Park Jihoon, BTS Jungkook, BTS Jin, BTS V, BIGBANG G-Dragon, BTS RM, TVXQ Yunho, BTS J-Hope, BTS Suga, Wanna One Kim Jaehwan, Wanna One Hwang Minhyun, EXO Baekhyun, Cortis Gunho, Super Junior Heechul, Wanna One Lai Kuanlin, Highlight Yoon Doojoon, Wanna One Ong Seongwu, Wanna One Bae Jinyoung, Super Junior Siwon, WINNER Seunghoon, SHINee Minho, Super Junior Kyuhyun, RIIZE Wonbin, TWS Dohoon, Cortis Seonghyun, SHINee Key, BIGBANG Daesung, Wanna One Yoon Jisung, and EXO Kai.

Director Koo Chang-hwan of the Korea Corporate Reputation Research Institute stated, “According to the May 2026 big data analysis, BTS Jimin’s brand recorded first place. When analyzing the boy group individual brand category, the big data decreased by 35.87% compared to April’s 115,591,013 points. A detailed analysis shows a 54.19% drop in brand consumption, a 55.81% drop in brand issues, a 23.45% drop in brand communication, and a 26.98% drop in brand diffusion.”

He further analyzed, “For BTS Jimin, who took the top spot in May 2026, link analysis showed high results for ‘perfect,’ ‘enthusiastic,’ and ‘breakthrough,’ while keyword analysis highlighted ‘ARMY,’ ‘world tour,’ and ‘Mexico.’ In the positive and negative ratio analysis, he recorded a positive ratio of 92.97%.”
