BTS has claimed the top spot in the “June’s Pick” vote, a fresh expansion of the theme pick voting presented by Ilgan Sports and FanCast.
Held over three weeks from the 1st to the 21st via FanCast, this vote focused on artists celebrating special occasions in June, such as debut anniversaries and birthdays.
As a result, BTS took 1st place in the first “Pick of the Month” with a total of 63,405 votes. Lim Young Woong, who has a birthday in June, followed in 2nd place with 25,554 votes, and Super Junior’s Ryeowook landed in 3rd with 10,188 votes.
BTS, the winners of the vote, will celebrate their 13th debut anniversary on June 13. After releasing their 5th full-length album “Arirang” last March, they are currently on the “BTS World Tour ‘Arirang'”. They also have special performances scheduled in Busan on June 12 and 13 during their debut anniversary week.
Meanwhile, artists who rank 1st in the Ilgan Sports x FanCast “Theme Pick” vote receive benefits such as a news report in Ilgan Sports, a full-page print advertisement in Ilgan Sports, and ad exposure on FanCast. The full-page ad celebrating BTS’s 13th anniversary will be revealed during the anniversary week in June. The next vote, “July’s Pick”, is scheduled to take place in June via FanCast.
