BTS is set to take the stage as co-headliners for the halftime show of the 2026 FIFA North America World Cup final! The performance will take place on July 19 at the New Jersey Stadium in New York, USA.
The World Music Awards (WMA), often called the Billboard of Europe, highlighted this milestone on their official account. They noted that Jungkook was the first Asian artist to headline the 2022 FIFA World Cup and will now return to the spotlight as a co-headliner with BTS on July 19. This means Jungkook is poised to become the first male and Asian artist to perform at multiple FIFA World Cup events.

Jungkook previously wowed the world with a live performance of “Dreamers” at the 2022 FIFA Qatar World Cup opening ceremony. The “Dreamers” music video on FIFA’s official YouTube channel has already soared past 440 million views, becoming the first video on the channel to hit 400 million and ranking as the most-viewed video of all time. Additionally, “Dreamers” has racked up over 529 million streams on Spotify and set new records for an official World Cup soundtrack on iTunes and the US Billboard charts.
