Chef Cho Seo-hyung has confessed to a bit of a struggle with his public recognition.
In the second episode of tvN’s variety show ‘Cooking is Painful!’ aired on May 16, Kim Pung, Jung Ji-sun, Lee Moon-jung, and Cho Seo-hyung headed to the gastronomic city of Hong Kong for a workshop with Lee Eun-ji to find inspiration before hosting a cooking exhibition.
During the show, when asked if he is recognized often since appearing on television, Cho Seo-hyung revealed, “Rather than remembering me by my name, many people ask, ‘Aren’t you Chef Park Eun-young?’ They’ll say, ‘You’re a chef, but…'” He agreed that people often seem to get him confused.
Cho Seo-hyung first gained popularity appearing on the Netflix variety show ‘Culinary Class Wars’ under the nickname ‘Business Genius Boss Cho’. More recently, on KBS 2TV’s ‘Boss in the Mirror’, he mentioned that Shinsegae Chairman Chung Yong-jin, a conglomerate leader, had visited his restaurant.
