SBS is bringing us a new Friday-Saturday drama called ‘Kim Bu-jang’, premiering June 26 at 9:50 PM! It is a “Dad Universe” revenge action drama about an ordinary father who becomes a dangerous man to rescue his only daughter.
‘Kim Bu-jang’ is an adaptation of the Naver webtoon of the same name. The project brings together writer Nam Dae-joong, known for movies like ‘Great Wish’, ’30 Days’, and ‘First Ride’, along with directors Lee Seung-young (‘Wonderful World’, ‘Tracer’, ‘Voice 2’) and Lee So-eun.
Choi Dae-hoon takes on the role of Seong Han-soo, who is currently a sweet Taekwondo gym director but was once a brilliant gold medalist and secret agent.
The first released still shows Seong Han-soo in a white Taekwondo gym, wearing his dobok and kindly guiding his young students with a serious yet caring expression.

Sharing his thoughts before the premiere, Choi Dae-hoon said, “I am so excited and grateful to finally share the filming process, which was truly enjoyable, with the viewers.”
He teased the multi-dimensional nature of Seong Han-soo, describing the character as “sharp, prickly, and fluffy.”
He added, “Since the staff, production team, and all the actors have worked so hard for this moment, I will wait with anticipation rather than worry or fear,” and asked for lots of love and interest for ‘Kim Bu-jang’.
