The 19th episode of SBS Plus’s ‘Lee Ho-sun’s Cider,’ which aired on the 9th, focused on the theme “The Height of Audacity! Shameless People.” The episode left viewers outraged with stories that defied common sense, ranging from “delivery beggars” taking advantage of kindness to cheating husbands playing the victim and stalking neighbors.
The top story featured a mother in her 30s preparing for divorce due to the heartless behavior of her husband and in-laws. While raising two children, she had lent her husband money for his business, but he repeatedly borrowed money from her parents in secret and misused her credit cards and loans.
Shockingly, evidence found on the husband’s old phone revealed signs of prostitution, records of pawning his wife’s jewelry, and unauthorized withdrawals from the children’s bank accounts. Kim Ji-min was horrified, calling it a “Pandora’s box,” while the mother tearfully shared her struggle to pay off debts caused by her husband, expressing her desire for a stable life for her children.
Lee Ho-sun didn’t hold back, stating firmly, “This man is not a husband; he is a scammer.” She pointed out that someone who steals from their own children’s accounts cannot possibly care about them. Noting that it’s unlikely the husband would willingly pay living and child support, she provided a practical solution: “Contact the Child Support Agency after the divorce.”
When the mother tearfully asked what to do when the children miss their father, Lee Ho-sun declared, “A father who leads his children toward ruin is not needed.” She advised, “Being kind is great, but a mother cannot afford to be only kind.
