Choi Hwa-jung shared her feelings about not quite reaching the 30-year milestone as a radio DJ.
During the May 15 broadcast of SBS Power FM’s Kim Young-chul’s Power FM (also known as Cheol-Pa-Em), actress Choi Hwa-jung appeared as a guest to look back on her 27-year journey with Choi-Pa-Ta.
One listener sent a heartwarming message, saying, “Power FM has been a part of my life forever, and I love and am always grateful to Hwa-jung unnie, who is like a lifelong girl.” Choi Hwa-jung was deeply moved and expressed her gratitude to the fans who still remember her.
She confessed, “I’m so grateful, and I really wish I could have reached that 30th anniversary.”
When she mentioned, “Still, I did it for 27 years,” Kim Young-chul encouraged her, saying, “You should do it for another 2 or 3 years!” To which Choi Hwa-jung jokingly replied, “I’ll have to fill those years in later.” Kim Young-chul added to the laughter by suggesting, “Please fill them up bit by bit by appearing as a guest!”
