Choi Jun-hee, daughter of the late actress Choi Jin-sil, recently shared some thoughts on her dieting journey ahead of her upcoming wedding.

On May 15, Choi Jun-hee posted some throwback photos on social media, captioning them, “Look at the selfies I took when I got my first smartphone in second grade. I look so plump and cute.” She revealed, “Anyway, I wasn’t born skinny. From my bone structure to my overall size, I had total baseball player DNA.”

She further emphasized the importance of staying fit, saying, “Humans spend their whole lives looking back at old photos and reminiscing. It’s so stressful if those photos just feel like a ‘dark history’ or something to regret.” She also mentioned that “new fat shouldn’t be created” for the body to use energy efficiently.

Currently, Choi Jun-hee maintains a height of 170cm and a weight of 41kg. In the past, her weight increased to 96kg while battling Lupus, but she successfully lost the weight through medical treatment, a strict diet, and consistent exercise. She has also undergone plastic surgery, including facial contouring and procedures on her eyes and nose.

Choi Jun-hee previously mentioned that she wants to be at her lowest weight ever for her wedding. She joked, “I’m going to lose even more weight because I’m thinking about eating everything in sight during the honeymoon!”

Born in 2003, Choi Jun-hee is set to marry a non-celebrity who is 11 years her senior this May at a hotel in Gangnam, Seoul.

For some background, the late Choi Jin-sil married baseball player Cho Sung-min in 2000 and had a son, Choi Hwan-hee (G-Flat), and a daughter, Choi Jun-hee, before divorcing in 2004. Following Choi Jin-sil’s passing in 2008, her younger sister Choi Jin-young passed away in 2010, and her ex-husband Cho Sung-min passed away in 2013.
