Comedian Kim Hae-jun revealed that he might be in trouble with BIGBANG’s Taeyang!
On the May 21 broadcast of KBS Cool FM ‘Paul Kim’s Gayo Gwangjang’, Kim Hae-jun joined as a guest.
During the show, a listener sent a message saying, “Hae-jun, you’ve made enough from this, buy (Paul Kim) a drink!” This was a nod to the time Kim Hae-jun’s alter ego, Choi Jun, went viral for covering Paul Kim’s ‘Me After You’.
Paul Kim responded warmly, saying, “I should be the one buying. While some people still aren’t sure if my debut song is actually mine, ‘Me After You’ became a beloved track thanks to him.”
Kim Hae-jun expressed his gratitude, noting that Paul Kim was also kind when he attended a concert. However, he then shared a funny worry: “I recently imitated Taeyang. In a recent piece of content, when Taeyang asked ‘Who is the person I should sue?’, he said it would be me. It’s totally possible!” Kim Hae-jun had previously created a parody character called ‘Taeyang-in’ to mimic the singer.
When Paul Kim jokingly asked how many trials he currently has going on, Kim Hae-jun quipped, “I don’t know. About 12,” leading Paul Kim to joke back, “I hope you reach an amicable settlement!”
