Cortis Drops ‘ACAI’ MV! “I Like It a Lot, Uh Uh Acai” and Infinite Imagination!

‘ACAI’ is a track from Cortis (Martin, James, Juhoon, Sunghyun, Gunho)’s second mini album released on May 4. The song is inspired by acai bowls, the members’ favorite food that they enjoyed every single day while working on their new release!

While lyrics like “Gulp gulp, craving it” and “I like it a lot, uh uh Acai” sound playful, they actually hold a deeper ambition: to become artists with a strong foundation, just like an acai bowl that tastes delicious with just the base and no fancy toppings. All members took part in writing and composing the track, with Martin and Sunghyun credited as producers.

Get ready! A conceptual performance film focusing on the choreography for ‘ACAI’ will be released on May 12 at 9 PM.

Meanwhile, the title track ‘REDRED’ is on a roll! It climbed to 4th place on Melon’s daily chart on the 10th, up two spots from the previous day. On the latest weekly charts (May 4 to 10), it landed at 9th on Melon (up 55 spots) and 3rd on Bugs (up 13 spots). It also maintained its spot on Spotify’s ‘Daily Top Songs Global’ for 19 days, ranking 71st as of the 10th.

‘REDRED’ also charted for two consecutive weeks on the ‘Weekly Top Songs Global’ (May 1 to 7), ranking 61st. As for the second mini album ‘GREENGREEN’, it recorded first-week sales of 2,313,291 copies on the Hanteo Chart. This is a massive jump, more than five times the sales of their previous work, proving the incredible growth of Cortis!
