Former f(x) member and versatile actress Crystal (Jung Soo-jung) is returning to the music scene with her second single on the 26th.
Crystal will release “PWLT”, the second single from her first solo album, on the 26th. CD pre-orders will be available at major domestic online and offline record stores from May 15 at 2 PM until midnight on the 21st.
On the 13th, Crystal shared the news of her new single at the end of the second episode of “Charging Crystals”, a series documenting the production of her solo album, released via her agency BANA’s official YouTube channel.
The production series captures her creative journey between Jeju’s “House of Refuse” and Taiwan, featuring recording sessions with Guo Guo from the famous Taiwanese band Sunset Rollercoaster, sessions with singer-songwriter and producer Toro y Moi, and glimpses of her choreography practice.
Crystal recently wrapped up the tvN drama “How to Become a Building Owner in Korea”, where she played Jeon Yi-kyung alongside Ha Jung-woo, Im Soo-jung, and Kim Jun-han. She also starred as a romantic lead opposite Jung Woo in the movie “Jjanggu”.
She continues to stay busy as an actress, with news of her appearance in the Korea-Japan co-production film “I Hear You”, directed by Oe Takamashi, who won the Best Screenplay award at the Cannes Film Festival.
